SERENITY HEALING

Johanna has extensive experience working as a Reiki Master, Clinical Hypnotherapist and as a Certified Biofeedback therapist. Johanna started her career as a RN nurse in the Netherlands , working primarily in anesthesiology and the Red Cross Blood Bank.

Her interest in Alternative Healing was sparked after a diagnosis for thyroid cancer. With this type of cancer primarily being hereditary, and no history of it in her family, she started researching other possible causes for the diagnosis.

Throughout the medical healing process, she also embraced the alternative healing methods and found that it gave her an insight into the diagnosis and taught her to use the methods to bring healing to her body and mind. Specifically, her experience with Reiki taught her the power of energy in the healing process and led her to the desire to share it with others in her life. Upon completion of the Reiki training, Johanna started her healing work, working with friends and acquaintances. Her business expanded mainly based upon referrals and word-of-mouth advertising, as individuals started to experience the positive benefits of Reiki in their spiritual and physical lives.

Johanna’s interest in Alternative Healing continued to grow as she discovered the benefits of Polarity, the Healing Touch, and Hypnotherapy, among others. Her business grew to include classes in order to teach others how to use the healing powers in their own lives.

Her credentials include Doctor in Naturopathy, Reiki Master, ACHE Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Certified Biofeedback Therapist, along with multiple hours of Polarity training and other healing modalities. Her latest research brought her a new biofeedback approach to healing, using the EFPX interface software. She joined the NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) organization and is working on her certification.
